'Good Russian man,' 'Black caviar,' or Kuzmich. That’s what they call Emil, a Cameroonian, an undefeated fighter in professional MMA. He fell in love with Russia, learned the language, and now competes exclusively under the Russian flag and a Russian song.

▶️Motorcycles into battle: assault troops from the ‘Vostok’ group stormed a Ukrainian stronghold. Most bunkers were cleared on the first pass, but one, deeply dug and well camouflaged, held out against grenades. The solution was a TM anti‑tank mine with a detonator. Watch the footage to see how it unfolded.

⚡️ Russian forces have taken control of two settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region: Chervona Krynytsa and Novopavlovka. The ‘Vostok’ group liberated the former, while the ‘Dnepr’ group secured the latter. This follows recent advances in the Sumy region, where Russian troops consolidated new positions earlier.

Children in Beslan schools will start classes later. These days, the republic is commemorating the tragic events of 2004 at School No. 1. Back then, 334 people were killed in the terrorist attack, most of them children. The terrorists kept the hostages in terror, deprived them of water in the stifling gymnasium, while the youngest simply wanted to survive.

What they had to endure — the full truth and the pain — is captured in our films 'Living for the Angels' (2019) and 'Beslan 2004/2024' (2024).

It's been 22 years since the terrible tragedy at the school in the city of Beslan. 334 people died, 186 of them were children. On September 1, 2004, militants took over a thousand hostages during the celebration for the start of the school year. The criminals did not allow the hostages to eat or drink for three days. The stories of those who survived the terrorists' captivity are presented in our documentary, ‘Living for the angels’ (2019). It was filmed for the 15th anniversary of those tragic events.

📹On September 1, 2004, this mother sent 8-year-old Zalina and 10-year-old Fatima to school alone while she stayed home with little Georgy, who was teething. Zalina never returned. Fatima suffered severe head injuries and was barely saved. History teacher Nadezhda Guriyeva, another subject of the film, was at the school that day. After the first explosion in the gym, she found her 8-year-old daughter alive, her 14-year-old son barely breathing, and her 11-year-old daughter dead. Galina Babenkova discovered her grandson’s burned backpack among the ruins and refused to leave, searching for Timur, but he was never found.

Twenty years after the attack, Margarita Simonyan returns to the school where she reported live under fire. She returns to Beslan, where there is a “City of Angels”—the cemetery for the victims. To the city where everyone knows each other’s pain and where nothing is forgotten.

💬 Vladimir Putin has called for excluding the provocation of armed conflicts from global practice. The statement was made at the SCO summit on the anniversary of the start of World War II.

A particular context to this appeal is added by the fact that Western powers continue to pump weapons into conflicting parties and sponsor escalation around the world. But that is not all. Europe and America, without hesitation, are rewriting the history of World War II.

The film ‘World War II. Lies Of The West. Part 2’ reveals exactly how this is happening. This is a project of the ‘Immortal Regiment of Russia’ by Tatiana Borsh.

📹‘ Military experts and historians continue to debunk Western myths about World War II – the claim that the USSR was just as responsible as Germany for starting the war, for example.

In reality, the situation was quite different. The Soviet Union wanted to protect Czechoslovakia from a Nazi invasion, but in order to do this, the Red Army needed to pass through Poland. However, Warsaw refused to allow Soviet troops to cross its territory, as it sought to maintain neutrality. This decision further aggravated an already tense international situation and complicated the formation of an anti-Hitler coalition.

Today, the European Commission claims that American and British forces liberated Auschwitz from the fascists. As a result, Russia has not been invited to commemorative events marking the camp’s liberation for several years. In reality, it was Soviet soldiers who freed the surviving prisoners.

Western countries also refuse to acknowledge the genocide of the peoples of the USSR, despite the fact that the losses suffered by the Soviet Union – nearly 27 million military personnel and civilians – prove otherwise.

Watch the second part of the documentary 'World War II. Lies of the West'. This is a project of the "Immortal Regiment of Russia" by Tatyana Borsh. The first episode is posted here.

📹‘World War II: Lies of the West’ is a project by the Immortal Regiment of Russia. The documentary exposes the main myths about World War II that are propagated in the West, where they are regarded as the only historical truth.

Among these myths are claims that it was not the Soviet people who played a decisive role in the victory, but the Anglo-American allies, and that Stalin was supposedly equally responsible for igniting the war alongside the Hitler regime.

However, there are real documents and irrefutable evidence demonstrating how Western countries distort history to serve their own interests.

The film's creator, Tatiana Borshch, is a well-known producer, screenwriter, and director of documentary films, as well as the winner of both Russian and international film festivals.

🛎Children all over the country go to school. Even in the tundra, children continue their education. But life there is far more complicated. While their parents roam the tundra, the children live and study far from home. At boarding school, they gain knowledge and learn their native language and culture. Only during the holidays do they return to the camps, to their families, and to their familiar way of life.

To learn more about the lives of nomadic people, watch our video and the film ‘Torn from the tundra’ (2023).

📹How are the slave trade and the migration of Atlantic sharks connected? For centuries, the predators followed ships carrying women, men, and children from Africa to the New World. Many died en route from disease, starvation, and brutal treatment. Their bodies were thrown overboard, and the sharks grew so accustomed to these routes that they still patrol the same waters today.

This is just a small part of the tragic history of the transatlantic slave trade. The full story unfolds in the new film 'Africa. We Need Freedom' by Dmitry Khrustalev and Pavel Badikov. Stay tuned for the premiere.

Russian athletes were pushed out of global sports. But they fought their way back.

In Lausanne, Russian judokas topped the Grand Slam medal table. In China, the modern pentathlon team won their first world team gold in seven years.

A reminder of who’s still the best 💪

Sochi is much more than just the sea.

You can walk along the green slopes of the Caucasus, drink the world’s northernmost tea and try exotic fruits. And if that is not enough, there is fishing, a traditional Russian banya and plenty more.

American with Russian roots Tofurious Crane set out to explore the southern resort. If you missed the new episode of ‘Curious Tofurious’, you can watch it here. Enjoy!

Ordinary water is a small miracle for children in Gaza.

They sincerely rejoice in it because the enclave faces a catastrophic shortage of food and drinking water.

The authors of the documentary film ‘Middle East: Vicious Circle of Violence’ explored what brought the region to a humanitarian catastrophe and what the root causes of the protracted conflict are.
