📹How are the slave trade and the migration of Atlantic sharks connected? For centuries, the predators followed ships carrying women, men, and children from Africa to the New World. Many died en route from disease, starvation, and brutal treatment. Their bodies were thrown overboard, and the sharks grew so accustomed to these routes that they still patrol the same waters today.
