Alexander Kozachinskiy -- PAC learning without VC dimension in special cases.

A few years ago, Bruno Bauwens gave a talk, where in particular he showed that halfspaces are pac-learnable without the theory of VC dimension. The argument was somewhat technical and involved Farkas lemma, KKT conditions, etc. I was recently giving some lectures about PAC learning and found out that the same thing can be explain simpler, using just the Helly theorem about convex sets.
