When the American occupation forces tightened their grip on Iraqi soil in 2003, occupying the country and killing its people, the free had no choice but to confront those who had replaced Baathist tyranny. The Islamic Resistance’s improvised explosive devices tore apart the occupiers’ vehicles, reducing them to wreckage, while its rockets rained down on their bases, reducing them to rubble throughout the occupation of our beloved Iraq. Their defeated army had no choice but to suffer defeat in 2011, under the pretext of the security agreement with the Iraqi government at the time. Thus, the Iraqis recorded their first victory over one of the world’s most powerful armies: the United States Army, backed by nearly thirty armies belonging to its allies.

The American enemy had barely absorbed the shock of its defeat in Iraq when it began reinforcing and implementing its malicious plans in Syria, after mobilizing Saudi-backed Takfiri mercenaries in an attempt to dismantle and weaken the environment of resistance and steadfast opposition in the region. The men of the Islamic Resistance therefore had no choice but to rise up to establish stability and security and expel the Takfiris from the land of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her).

When signs of the defeat of the Takfiri armies, supported by Saudi money, began to emerge, the evil America sought to transfer the battle to Iraqi soil in a malicious attempt to exploit the fact that the Iraqi resistance fighters were occupied in Syria. Criminal gangs advanced into Iraqi cities, violated their sanctity, enslaved their women, and killed their children. The Iraqi resistance fighters therefore had no choice but to confront the Takfiri tide, which had nearly brought down the capital, Baghdad.

Following the collapse of the Iraqi security and military apparatus in the western provinces and the threat that the capital would fall, the government headed by Sayyed Nouri Al-Maliki asked the Iraqi Resistance to confront this danger that had engulfed Iraq. Its men stepped forward to plug the gaps, establish defensive positions, halt the enemy’s advance, and even pursue it.

Following the issuance of the blessed religious edict, one of the roles of the resistance factions was to ensure the edict’s success by accommodating and training the majority of volunteers in various types of weaponry and deploying them to the battlefields to fight in the battles to liberate the violated Iraqi cities and secure the territory after its liberation.

Amid the battles against the Takfiris, when their defeat had begun to loom on the horizon, the American enemy once again intervened in the Iraqi scene under the pretext of providing air support against Takfiri gangs that were originally backed by America. The Americans thus managed to reestablish their military presence, but this time they understood the need to circumvent the threat posed by the Iraqi Resistance by introducing new rules of engagement. The occupation established its military camps inside the country, under the illusion that this would prevent the Resistance’s rockets and explosive devices from reaching its forces. However, the Resistance was prepared for them and managed to develop its rockets and drones to threaten the presence of their forces and pound their bases. Thus began the rounds of confrontation in accordance with the new rules of engagement during the second phase of the American occupation.

Throughout the events and the targeting of the occupation’s presence during the period following the defeat of ISIS, particularly in operations in support of the people of Palestine and Islamic Iran, American occupation aircraft targeted the defensive positions of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Al-Qaim and the broader areas near the Iraqi-Syrian border, as well
