Secretary-General of the Sayyed Al-Shuhada Brigades Abu Alaa Al-Walaei:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
{And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.} — (Holy Qur'an – Surat Al-Ankabut 69)

It is certain in the minds of many of you that we are gathering today to mourn Sayyed Nasrallah, may Allah Almighty bless him. Yet a dead person is mourned, so is Sayyed Nasrallah truly dead? Can we mourn a man of Nasrallah's stature?

How can we mourn history, legend, values, dignity, manhood, piety, righteousness, resistance, honor, truthfulness, trustworthiness, beauty, steadfastness, patience, and chivalry?

How can we mourn the religious scholar, the man of the battlefields, the man of the seminaries, the beloved of the religious authorities, and the man of jihad and confrontations?

How can we mourn the father, brother, friend, supporter, companion, thinker, genius, strong man, truthful man, steadfast man, the one who terrified the Jews and the arrogant, and the beloved of the oppressed and the mujahideen? How?

Where can I find a language capable of encompassing all this record, presence, and splendor?

Where can I find words capable of containing all the languages, the poems of heroism, the books of exalted honor, and the ethics of the heavenly messages?

And now, let us ask again:

Did Nasrallah die?

You know that death, for the Master of the South, means that the resistance dies, and that the river of jihad, confronting the occupier, and confronting the arrogant runs dry. Has this happened? Certainly not.

Therefore, Nasrallah is alive and continues to live.

Death, for Nasrallah, means that America and “Israel” are pleased with us. Are they pleased with us? They are offering millions of dollars to kill us or provide information leading to us.

Death, for the Master of the Living and the Knight of the Mujahideen, means that we leave the axis of truth and appease the axis of evil, falsehood, baseness, and subservience; that we leave the trench of the Mahdi, the Proof, for the trench of the Sufyani and the Freemason, and for the front of the embassy of evil and shame in Baghdad. Has this happened? Certainly not.

Therefore, Nasrallah is alive and continues to live.

Do you know, dear ones, when Nasrallah truly dies?

When we no longer hear in the south the cry, “Never shall we accept humiliation”; when we see defeat in the eyes of the mothers and sisters of the martyrs; and when the mujahideen and their families desire normalization and negotiations with the occupying Jews. Since this has not happened and will not happen, he is alive, alive, alive.

Nasrallah dies only when the mujahideen in Gaza and Lebanon make peace with the “Israeli” enemy.

When the mujahideen in Yemen make peace with the Saudi sectarian hegemony.

When we in Iraq make peace with the Great Satan, America.

And when the capital of Islam and the state of truth in Iran make peace with the occupiers throughout the world and abandon the principles of Ruhollah Khomeini and Ali Al-Husseini Khamenei.

But since this has not happened and will not happen, Nasrallah is alive and continues to live.

O Abu Hadi, firmly rooted in the rifles of the revolutionaries, O descendant of the Messenger of Allah, sleep peacefully. We carry what you taught us to carry, reject what you taught us to reject, and build what you taught us to build.

May the eyes of the cowards never sleep.

And we ask Allah to grant us reunion with you at the highest station, the noblest honor, and the exalted rank. Victory is the patience of an hour, and martyrdom is but two bows' length or nearer.
