On the 26th anniversary of the blessed Al-Aqsa Intifada: Our compass will remain steadfast toward the liberation of the land and holy sites, and we call on our nation and free people around the world to support the struggle and steadfastness of our people until they secure their legitimate rights

– The 26th anniversary of the blessed Al-Aqsa Intifada comes this year amid an unprecedented escalation carried out by the fascist occupation government through its aggressive war against our land, our people, and our holy sites, foremost among them Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as its protection of extremist settlers in their crimes, in furtherance of attempts to Judaize Al-Aqsa, defile it, erase its landmarks, and advance annexation and displacement plans.

– The blessed Al-Aqsa Intifada, which began on September 28, 2000, was and will remain an inspiring icon for all generations throughout history, embodying the meanings of heroism and standing up for Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, and affirming that the enemy’s crimes and ongoing terrorism will not succeed in extinguishing the flame of resistance or undermining the determination and will of our people.

– On the 26th anniversary of the blessed Al-Aqsa Intifada, we renew our pledge of loyalty to the blood of the martyrs and the sacrifices of the prisoners, and affirm that our people will not relinquish their land, rights, principles, and holy sites, and that the plans of the enemy and its successive fascist governments will ultimately fail, regardless of how much they escalate their brutality and crimes.

– The city of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque are at the heart of our ongoing struggle with the brutal Zionist enemy. Al-Aqsa Mosque will remain an Islamic endowment that will accept neither partition nor partnership. There will be no sovereignty or legitimacy for the occupation over a single inch of it, and we will not retreat from defending it until its liberation.

– The movement of all Palestinians toward consensus on a unified struggle strategy, backed by sustained and serious support and effective partnership from our Arab and Islamic nation and free people around the world, is a fundamental pillar of the project to liberate the land and holy sites and confront the occupation’s plans.

– We call on our steadfast people throughout the West Bank and the occupied interior, and in Jerusalem and its environs, to continue making the journey to, remaining in, and observing spiritual retreat at Al-Aqsa Mosque, in defense of our blessed Al-Aqsa and to thwart the plans of the occupation and extremist settlers.

– We also call on our Arab and Islamic nation and free people around the world to take urgent and serious action at all levels – political, diplomatic, media, and popular – and mobilize all capabilities to support our people steadfastly holding their ground in the land and in the arenas of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, and to work to confront the criminal projects targeting Al-Aqsa Mosque until it is liberated from the defilement of the occupation, God willing.

– We pray for the souls of the martyrs of the Al-Aqsa Intifada and all the caravans of our people’s martyrs who fell on the path toward liberating the land and holy sites, and pledge to them that we will remain faithful to their blood, sacrifices, and path until we secure all our rights.
