“A fairy tale, an amazing fairy tale” – was how Moshe Safdie, a young and inexperienced architect, who had not long ago graduated from McGill University, described his success of receiving a proposal to revamp his thesis project for Expo 67, the World’s Fair at which the first most visited exhibit was Posokhin’s USSR pavilion, which now resides at the All-Russia Exhibition Center as Moscow Pavilion, and the third most visited was the gigantic geodesic dome by Buckminster Fuller.
