🤝 On September 25, in New York, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov participated in a working meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (#CSTO) member states, organised under the Kyrgyz presidency of the CSTO.

A constructive and substantive exchange of views took place on pressing issues of international and regional security, with particular focus on the situation within the CSTO’s area of responsibility and adjacent regions.

The need for further coordination of efforts by CSTO member states on international platforms, primarily at the UN, was emphasised, as well as the importance of strengthening cooperation between the CSTO and the UN.

The Ministers also discussed preparations for the upcoming session of the CSTO Collective Security Council, scheduled to convene in Bishkek on November 27, 2025.

📄 Following the meeting, a Joint Statement by the Foreign Ministers of CSTO Member States was adopted to mark the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations.
