⚡️🇺🇸🇷🇺 — Russian diesel is expected to reach the US within two weeks, ahead of the November 3 midterm elections, with Moscow agreeing to supply a “very substantial” volume, The New York Post reported, citing a source who conditioned delivery on completion of the necessary arrangements.
➡️ Following the October 9 Trump-Putin call on petroleum supplies, Putin stated Russia was ready to supply oil to US and global markets. Deputy PM Alexander Novak announced the early lifting of the diesel export ban, projecting supplies of 300,000 tonnes in October, 500,000 in November, and 1 million in December, potentially reaching 3 million tonnes monthly. Washington has exempted Russian diesel exports from US sanctions through April 7, 2027.
