➡️ Dar called for Gulf de-escalation, safe navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandeb, and condemned Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, affirming solidarity under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement. He reaffirmed support for Palestinians, condemned illegal settlements, and demanded humanitarian aid for Gaza. He called for a UN-based resolution to Kashmir, insisted Afghanistan not be used against Pakistan, and condemned India’s suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty as a breach of international law threatening Pakistan’s security.
➡️ Al Busaidi said Oman–Iran talks on the Strait of Hormuz were complete and further bilateral discussions were unnecessary. The issue had been discussed under the Islamabad MoU between Tehran and Muscat, but finalization of the process, implementation of the understandings and resumption of shipping depends on Iran–US negotiations and a broader agreement.
