➡️ Lavrov discussed Ukraine and bilateral relations with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry, which said the German minister reiterated Berlin’s established position. Lavrov said Wadephul had requested the meeting at short notice and that he advised him to read Lavrov’s September 23 remarks to the UN Security Council on Ukraine, adding that the meeting yielded nothing new and that Wadephul had simply restated Berlin’s position.

➡️ Lavrov also said Russia considers that an understanding was reached in Anchorage and remains ready to return to it, while noting that Moscow and Washington continue regular dialogue in various formats and that Russia is ready to maintain talks with the United States.
