⚡️🇮🇷🇺🇳 — Following his return to Tehran from New York, the Iranian president assessed the outcomes of his UN General Assembly visit, saying U.S. President Donald Trump’s speech altered his approach to responding and led Iran to more explicitly defend its policies, positions and beliefs at the assembly — SNN TV.

➡️ He said the visit was followed by intensive diplomatic engagement, including meetings with the leaders of Switzerland, Norway, Bangladesh, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Armenia and Qatar, the President of the European Council and the UN secretary-general, as well as discussions with U.S. media, think tanks, Iranian intellectuals and the Iranian diaspora.

➡️ Abbas Araghchi, he said, had held more than 30–40 meetings with foreign ministers and remained in the United States for further talks. The president said continued dialogue was intended to demonstrate that Iran does not fear or reject negotiations, while stressing that previously signed commitments must be implemented before trust can be established and that confidence must rest on a legal framework defined by the UN or binding commitments.

He also said Iran used the talks to argue that the United States and Israel, rather than Tehran, were responsible for regional instability.
