January 27th is a day dedicated to the memory of those who died during the Holocaust.

WHY JANUARY 27?

By the morning of January 27, 1945, about 7,000 prisoners remained in the Auschwitz and Birkenau camps. More than a million prisoners were killed in Auschwitz. The total number of Jews exterminated in the death camps is estimated at six million.

Why were the Jews persecuted and exterminated?
First, because the Germans believed that German Jews betrayed Germany during the First World War and were responsible for its defeat; secondly, that Jews are responsible for Germany's economic losses during the depression in the late 1920s and early 1930s. This is connected with a larger lie about the world Jewish conspiracy.
