In fact, it hasn’t ‘solved’ it in a closed-form analytical solution either.

The point is that Milne’s equation (and the related Ermakov–Milne equation) has no universal exact solution in the form of a formula, not because mathematicians simply ‘couldn’t figure it out’ for hundreds of years, but because of its non-linear nature.

BUT it still solved it like a professional in this sphere.
