🇨🇦 Canada lectures the world on sovereignty while renting out its own

Anita Anand went to the UN to warn that state sovereignty is being treated with disdain, which is rich coming from a Trudeau-Carney regime that spent years outsourcing policy to Davos slogans, mass immigration targets, supranational talking points and whatever moral fashion the global conference circuit was selling that week. Now Ottawa suddenly wants strategic autonomy and a new international order led by middle powers, as reported. Translation: Canada has no superpower leverage, so the sales pitch is to hide inside multilateral blocs and call it leadership.

The real absurdity is Anand invoking sovereignty while Canada cannot control its borders, its housing market, its energy exports or even its diplomatic voice without checking NATO, the UN and the WEF-approved script. Carney talks like a post-national banker trying to manage decline with nicer branding. Anand dresses it up as principled realism. It is still managed dependency. A sovereign country does not chase global approval while its own people eat the bill for elite fantasies.
