The real tell in this whole referendum circus is that nine of the 10 questions are about immigration and constitutional control, yet the Canada Forever crowd wants to drown that out with flags, nostalgia, and celebrity therapy. Even reported as a unity rally, it reads like a panic response to years of Ottawa treating Alberta as a revenue colony.

Thomas Lukaszuk talks about threats to sovereignty and economic independence as if those threats fell from the sky. No, they came from the same managerial class that handed border policy, energy policy, and national identity over to globalist orthodoxy under Trudeau. Albertans did not wake up one morning randomly alienated from Confederation. They were taxed, lectured, regulated, replaced, and told to clap for it. If Team Canada needs a concert stage to compete with that record, the breakup talk is not the disease. It is the symptom.
