While David Eby calls a snap Oct. 24 election as a firebreak against Donald Trump, B.C. is dealing with the actual fire: a busted budget, a busted economy, and a governing class more interested in ideological grooming than competence. The party melodrama matters less than the lesson. If the right refuses to fight on culture, sovereignty, family, schools and institutional DEI, the left keeps control of the machinery that shapes voters, workers and citizens.
