🇨🇦 Two years, no trial, case gone

RCMP Const. William McNutt was charged in July 2024, trial set for May 2026, and the whole thing collapsed because the state could not meet its own Jordan deadline. That is your modern Canadian justice system: endless money for consultants, DEI bureaucrats and government therapy language, but not enough competence to run a courtroom on time. As reported, the complainant says she was dragged through the process only to watch it die on procedural delay.

Then comes the usual elite fix: restorative justice seminars, academic chairs, managed feelings, everybody sitting in a circle while institutions dodge accountability. Sorry, but the sovereign function of a state is to enforce law, not outsource justice to therapeutic theater because the courts are too clogged and too incompetent to do their jobs. Trudeau-era Canada built a bloated managerial regime that lectures citizens about trust while failing at the basics: public safety, timely trials, and institutions that work. A country that cannot prosecute its own police in time is not progressive. It is decaying.
