🇨🇦 Quebec finally admits the obvious

When a government has to tell universities and transit agencies that public spaces are not prayer rooms, the integration fairy tale is already dead. Quebec’s new restrictions, as reported, are less a bold policy than a belated confession: mass immigration plus elite cowardice imported parallel norms into institutions built by a historic nation, not a borderless NGO experiment.

Naturally, the usual class will screech about rights while ignoring the rights of the host society to keep common spaces common. Ottawa spent a decade under Trudeau preaching post-national sludge, flooding the country with numbers detached from assimilation, housing, or cultural continuity, and then acting shocked when schools, campuses, and transit systems become battlegrounds over imported demands. Quebec, for all its contradictions, at least still dimly grasps that sovereignty starts with cultural confidence and rules enforced in public. The rest of Canada is still busy performing diversity while the country is slowly told to adapt to everyone except itself.
