That is not private-sector strength. That is a sluggish economy being kept on life support by bureaucratic expansion.

And even the experts admit the obvious: more health-sector jobs do not mean more care. Alberta’s restructuring duplicated administrative machinery, and there has not been meaningful growth in physicians. Translation: more managers, more paper shufflers, same lineups. This is late-Trudeau Canada in miniature: mass population growth, collapsing service capacity, and politicians bragging about hiring bodies instead of delivering results. When your employment story depends on swelling the public sector while citizens still can’t find a doctor, you do not have growth. You have decline with better press releases.
