A Manitoba labour board just torched Western Star Inn & Suites after the chain underpaid three foreign workers by more than $100,000 and then showed up with what the board called scripted, rehearsed testimony. One worker, Victor Padilla Ruiz, is owed over $86,500 alone. Payroll manager Amrinder Singh Gill apparently had no records, no clue who had permits, and no idea how his own operation functioned, which tells you everything about the Temporary Foreign Worker pipeline in this country. The board even noted the hotel was mismanaged, as reported.

This is the bipartisan Canadian scam in miniature. Politicians import vulnerable labour by the plane-load, employers pocket the wage suppression, and locals are told this is compassion and economic necessity. Then, when the abuse surfaces, everyone acts shocked that a system built on dependency, legal insecurity, and bureaucratic fog gets exploited. Trudeau-era Canada normalized a labour market where sovereignty, borders, and Canadian workers come last, while globalist HR slogans cover for a disposable workforce model.
