The codes changed from a 7700 to a 7500 back to a 7700.

To change a squawk code, you must rotate four separate knobs (or use a cursor button to select each digit) to set each number, then press an enter or activate button to transmit it. This requires fine motor control and cannot be done while fighting off an attacker.
