If you were Israeli leaders, and believed you were being globally accused of crimes you didn't commit in Gaza, what's the first thing you'd do?
Urge the international media to go to Gaza and report the truth.
But if you know the accusations are true, you'd ban international media from reporting freely.
That's what Israel is doing even a year after a "cease-fire," and the reason could not be more obvious.

‘The Israel lobby is vast and it runs very deep in Washington D.C. But speaking directly to President Trump, you have Miriam Adelson, you have quite a few other prominent pro-Israel donors in America who made major contributions to President Trump’s campaign.
That gives them a certain degree of access into the White House. By the time we got to the deliberations for this war, the President’s inner circle had been shaved down a good deal.
The photos that were released that night down at Mar-a-Lago that had President Trump, you know Secretary Rubio, Director Ratcliffe of the CIA, and then you know his Department of War team, Hegseth and Caine, and then Susie Wiles. That’s really the small inner circle.
The Israelis are also able to go to all those individual cabinet members because they’ve cultivated long-term relationships with these individuals during their political careers.
A lot of these individuals like Rubio, like Ratcliffe, basically you have AIPAC bragging that they helped get them the jobs that they currently have there.
That gives members of the Israeli government and Israeli donors the ability to go point to point directly to them and say, “Hey, here’s our agenda. Here’s some intelligence we haven’t put through the regular channel” in order to get their stated objective of a regime change war in Iran across the finish line.
You also have an entire ecosystem in the media, people like Mark Levin, Fox News. You have think tanks like the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies that’s constantly putting so-called experts on Fox News, the programs they know the President is consuming.
It creates an ecosystem or an echo chamber, however you want to phrase it, around the President, and that’s basically the story of how we’ve gotten into this war.’

Every politician in Washington is compromised by something. Or someone.
It may be campaign donors, lobbyists, party leadership, special interests, wealthy allies, political favors, career ambitions or the promise of a lucrative life after leaving office.
The point isn't that every politician is taking a literal bribe. It's that almost every politician has someone they need, someone they owe, something they want, or someone they FEAR.
You don't have to own a politician outright to influence them. You just have to make opposing you more costly than supporting you.
That's how power works in Washington—and why the real question isn't whether politicians have a price. It's who gets to set it.
That's what happened here with Trump.

The War Criminal ordered Israel's inter-ministerial team and the Director of the International Law Department to begin preparing a legal case at the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan over his treatment of Kurds and his funding of Hamas, i24NEWS learned on Sunday.
The order came after Erdogan announced that he had approached Interpol seeking an Interpol Red Notice for Netanyahu, but this was apparently only one of a series of escalations that led to the preparation of a legal case.
The case will focus heavily on Erdogan's attacks against Kurdish minorities in Turkey, although it will also touch on his government's funding of Hamas.
There is a possibility Israel will take the case to the ICC itself, but it is more likely that Israel will utilize a proxy to launch the case. Israel does not recognize the authority of the ICC, as it has not signed the Rome Statute; neither has Turkey
However, sources noted that Israel hopes it will not actually be necessary to file the case at all, and that it aims to use the existence of the case as leverage against Erdogan, effectively using it as a deterrent.
Netanyahu declined to comment on the case, as did Justice Ministry officials

Can someone help me understand why Jews are, as far as I can tell, the only religious group whose members regularly stage fake racist attacks on themselves?
Meet Sean Sammitt, a former employee at the Temple Kol Ami synagogue on Walnut Lake Road in West Bloomfield, Michigan, 1 mile from where I grew up.
In 2020, Sammitt claimed a man shouted anti-Semitic comments then stabbed him as he was leaving synagogue. Sammitt told police he fought the attacker off and drove himself to Henry Ford hospital.
It turns out, Sammitt invented the whole story out of thin air A complete fabrication.
Police analyzed Samitt's Apple watch and looked at his heart rate when Samitt claimed the attack happened.
Investigators say it was normal and should have been higher. But the watch showed before the attack that Samitt's heart rate was elevated.
That led police into the synagogue, where they found bloody tissues and a knife Samitt used to stab himself.
Do other groups of people lie and invent racist attacks against themselves, is this just a Jewish thing? Honest question.
