Iceberg Orders are now live on Lighter Core!

Iceberg orders allow you to split larger orders into smaller visible portions, reducing the amount of your total order displayed on the order book.

Collateral Update

$ETH and $XAUT can now be used at 70% LTV on Lighter, giving traders more usable collateral value from both assets.

Lighter Core Updates

The following changes are now live on Lighter Core:

• Public Pools — Plus and Premium accounts can now create public pools after reaching $10M in trading volume. No whitelist needed.
• Standard Accounts — Taker latency remains at 300ms. Cancel latency has increased from 200ms to 300ms, while Post-Only orders now have no added latency.
• Premium Accounts — Taker latency is now 140ms across all staking tiers, down from 140–200ms depending on tier. Cancels and Post-Only orders continue to have no added latency.
• Withdrawals — Secure withdrawals remain free. The staking benefit for free Standard fast withdrawals has been removed: they’re now $3 each. Plus accounts get 10 free per day, then $1 each, while Premium accounts get unlimited free fast withdrawals.
• Subaccounts — Standard accounts can create up to 4, Plus up to 16, and Premium up to 64 (all tiers). Existing Standard accounts with more than 4 can keep them.

Please note: subaccounts can’t be deleted from now on, so accounts with more subaccounts than their new account type allows won’t be able to switch to that type.

Advanced Order Fee Update

As a reminder, Standard accounts will now have a 0.01% (1 bp) fee on RFQ, Chase Limit, and TWAP orders.

Plus and Premium accounts will continue to have their normal tier fees.

Limit and Market orders remain free.

RFQ is now open to all traders on Lighter!

For eligible Market orders, traders can execute via RFQ directly from the order panel.

RFQ can be available when liquidity is insufficient, orders exceed $500K, or orders exceed $10K with >0.1% expected slippage.
