Lighter Core Updates

The following changes are now live on Lighter Core:

• Public Pools — Plus and Premium accounts can now create public pools after reaching $10M in trading volume. No whitelist needed.
• Standard Accounts — Taker latency remains at 300ms. Cancel latency has increased from 200ms to 300ms, while Post-Only orders now have no added latency.
• Premium Accounts — Taker latency is now 140ms across all staking tiers, down from 140–200ms depending on tier. Cancels and Post-Only orders continue to have no added latency.
• Withdrawals — Secure withdrawals remain free. The staking benefit for free Standard fast withdrawals has been removed: they’re now $3 each. Plus accounts get 10 free per day, then $1 each, while Premium accounts get unlimited free fast withdrawals.
• Subaccounts — Standard accounts can create up to 4, Plus up to 16, and Premium up to 64 (all tiers). Existing Standard accounts with more than 4 can keep them.

Please note: subaccounts can’t be deleted from now on, so accounts with more subaccounts than their new account type allows won’t be able to switch to that type.
