We have got new total number of the languages, recognized as endangered (statuses defined in accordance with the UNESCO scale) and the total amount is approaching 3500 (which is more than a half of all spoken languages today). Hence, the estimated number of people at risk has risen from 80 to 120 million.

However, as you can see in the attached statistics, 71 languages are being revived right now thankfully to activists from all over the world.
