📰 Russian graduates report not objectivity of their English Final Exam

This year many students from Russia complain about their final English exam they need to take in order to get enrolled into their future universities because of the way exam was shaped this year. As people report, instead of checking proficiency level as in asking questions about grammar and vocabulary exam authors decided to surprise children with historical questions and questions about niche national holidays. Questions about historical events were graded as they are tasks on English topic.

Undoubtedly, people should know the history of their country, but should they be evaluated for their HISTORY knowledge during the ENGLISH exam? Obscure answers are not being counted anyway, so basically future linguists took part in the history exam ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯
