The situation for the Saudi-backed PLC in the southwest Ta'izz direction has become critical, with Iran-backed Houthis entering the al-Markaz Suq, just west of At Turbah, and south of the al-Safiya marketplace.

After capturing the al-Markaz Suq, clashes are already reported in al-Mansora as the Houthis forces advance east towards At Turbah.
