🇺🇸🇮🇶🇮🇷 — Washington Warns Iraq Over Iranian Flights

The U.S. has issued a serious and direct warning to Iraq over continued violations of its restrictions on Iranian airlines, according to an Iraqi government source cited by Asharq Al-Awsat.

Washington warned that sanctions could extend beyond Iranian carriers to Iraqi airports and companies facilitating their operations, including landing, ground handling, refueling and other services.

Iraq has already suspended Iranian flights at Najaf Airport and is seeking possible U.S. exemptions for humanitarian flights.
