🇺🇸🇮🇷🚨 BREAKING — Explosions Reported Near Strait of Hormuz and Kharg Island

Explosions have reportedly been heard in the Strait of Hormuz and near Iran’s strategic Kharg Island. Air defenses in Hormozgan Province have also reportedly been placed on red alert.

There is currently no independent confirmation that the U.S. is conducting airstrikes on Iranian oil tankers. However, the possibility is being reported amid heightened U.S.–Iran military tensions and recent attacks involving tankers in the Strait.

Recent reporting confirms that U.S. forces have previously struck Iranian maritime targets and that tanker incidents have occurred in the Strait of Hormuz.
