September 25 — The Day We Raised Our Voice

Nine years ago, on September 25, 2017, the people of Kurdistan stood together and cast their votes for a dream carried through generations: an independent Kurdistan.
That ballot was more than a piece of paper. It was a declaration of identity, dignity, and the right of a people to speak for themselves.
Whatever followed politically, no one can erase the memory of that day. The mountains remember. The martyrs are remembered. And the voice of the people remains part of our history.

September 25 is a day to remember who we are, where we came from, and the aspirations carried by generations before us.

Long live Kurdistan. Long live the Kurdish people. September 25 will always be remembered.
