Повод для разговора — наше с вами любопытство темой пересечения науки и искусства, отправная точка — выставка «Александр Панкин. Число как событие» — ретроспектива творчества художника и архитектора, который исследовал пространство, пропорции и число и на протяжении многих лет находился в диалоге с учёными.
Специальная подготовка не нужна, можно просто слушать, а можно в процессе задавать вопросы, обсуждать их со спикерами.
В одном пространстве встретятся Юрий Северюхин (кандидат биологических наук, ЛРБ ОИЯИ), Галина Орлова (социальный исследователь, ядерный антрополог), Марк Акопян (историк архитектуры, музей «Гараж») и Фёдор Софронов (музыковед, композитор) Модератор — Никита Спиридонов, куратор выставки «Александр Панкин. Число как событие».
А если хочется провести в Галерее весь день, можно начать с кураторской экскурсии в 12:00, самостоятельно познакомиться с выставкой в формате свободного посещения в 14:00, а в 16:00 нырнуть глубже и присоединиться к дискуссии.
Встретимся в Галерее и вместе посмотрим на то новое, что возникает на пересечении искусства и науки.

What will we discuss at the round table titled "How to extract the meaning of life from a quadratic equation"? 🌈

The conversation will focus on our shared curiosity about the intersection of science and art. The starting point is the "Alexander Pankin: Number as Event" retrospective exhibition of an artist and architect who explored space, proportion, and number while engaging in dialogue with researchers for many years.
No special preparation is required; you can just listen, or you can ask questions and discuss them with the speakers.
This event will bring together Yuri Severiukhin (Candidate of Biology, Laboratory of Radiation Biology at JINR), Galina Orlova (social researcher and nuclear anthropologist), Mark Akopyan (architectural historian, Garage Museum), and Fyodor Sofronov (musicologist and composer). Curator of the "Alexander Pankin. Number as Event" exhibition Nikita Spiridonov will moderate the session.
If you'd like to spend the entire day at the Gallery, you can start with a curator's tour at 12:00, take a self-guided tour of the exhibition at 14:00, and then dive deeper by joining the discussion at 16:00.
