The Creation Station βš’οΈ

We invite you to join us this Thursday in FabLab β€” creative space for ITMO students, that has different instruments like 3D-printers, laser cutter and more.

➑️ Together, we'll explore this space and create an acrylic keychain.

🌲 May Day Escape: Pine Forest Adventure, May 16 β€” How it went πŸ„πŸŸ

The forest was surprisingly warm, and after the night rain, we got to breathe in the true scent of wet moss and pine needles. We heard a cuckoo, found a magic forest stick, hugged the trees (yes, really), and took turns on the wooden swings

🌊 Then came the highlight: a big picnic on the beach by the lake, complete with branded cheese from the company that built the eco-trail πŸ§€

πŸ„ On the way back, we warmed up again among the trees, met dozens of snails and even a few swamp frogs 🐸 The trail was short but sweet – we were back in the city by 3 PM

Huge thanks to everyone who came, didn't mind taking a minibus, and made time in this super busy pre‑exam period. Almost all faces were familiar – it’s so nice to see that we've formed a real crew of outgoing nature lovers πŸ’š

Hey friends! Many of you have noticed the parades, wartime songs, and black-and-orange ribbons appearing in May in Russia. Let’s explain what this day is aboutπŸ‘‡

May 9th is Victory Day. On this day in 1945, the Soviet Union defeated Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War (1941–1945). Over 27 million Soviet people β€” soldiers and civilians β€” lost their lives.

On May 9th, Russians remember their ancestors, thank veterans, and say: β€œThank you for the Victory!” Main traditions include the military parade on Red Square, a minute of silence, the β€œImmortal Regiment” march (people carrying photos of their veteran relatives), and a festive fireworks display.

It’s a day of remembrance, grief, and immense pride.

Cooking masterclass πŸ˜‹

Yesterday we had an exclusive master class on cooking medovik – Russian honey cake.

First team made the dough, while the other team made the cream with berry filling. Then we baked the dough (with some quizzes and games in between) and made the cake together 🍰

Thank you everyone who came today! We're delighted that so many people were interested in it, and we'll make sure to create another cooking masterclass soon, so stay tuned πŸ””
