We received a huge number of applications, and unfortunately, the number of places was limited 🥲

If you haven’t received a confirmation message from us, it means that we weren’t able to offer you a spot this time. We’re truly sorry to everyone who wanted to join us but couldn’t make it into the group 💔

But don’t worry, this definitely won’t be our last trip! We’re already planning more adventures around the Leningrad Region and other nearby regions, so there will be plenty of opportunities to travel together very soon 👀🚌

After our pretzel masterclass, we're heading to the city those pretzels come from — Vyborg, a fairytale town with a medieval soul 🥨✨

Autumn is the perfect season to explore its historic streets and Castle Island with St. Olaf's Castle 🏰

🚆 ~1h 15min each way
💰 353 RUB round trip instead of 706 — validate your student ID at the Student Office after the summer to get 50% off

We'll visit the historic streets, Castle Island, traditional krendels, the market square, and a free observation deck for the best photos 📸 — and please, stay with the group, don't get lost!

What do buddies do? 🤝

Our volunteers are the first people international students meet at ITMO. Here's what we do:

✈️ Help before arrival — with questions, documents
🧳 Meet at the airport and help with dorm/hotel check‑in
🗣️ Act as translators at state offices, banks, and medical institutions
📄 Help with SNILS, SIM cards, visa extension, and other official documents
💙 Become the first friend an international student makes at university
🎉 Organise amazing events— culture nights, ice‑breaking games, city tours, trips outside the city, and much more
📱 Manage social media and communicate with university platforms to promote the club
🌍 Apply their skills to help the club grow — while growing themselves through new connections, experience, and opportunities
