What do buddies do? 🤝

Our volunteers are the first people international students meet at ITMO. Here's what we do:

✈️ Help before arrival — with questions, documents
🧳 Meet at the airport and help with dorm/hotel check‑in
🗣️ Act as translators at state offices, banks, and medical institutions
📄 Help with SNILS, SIM cards, visa extension, and other official documents
💙 Become the first friend an international student makes at university
🎉 Organise amazing events— culture nights, ice‑breaking games, city tours, trips outside the city, and much more
📱 Manage social media and communicate with university platforms to promote the club
🌍 Apply their skills to help the club grow — while growing themselves through new connections, experience, and opportunities
