📌 Tehran, IRNA — Iranian students’ third consecutive world title in astronomy and astrophysics, marked by five gold medals, demonstrates the country’s potential among its youth, adviser and aide to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Mohammad Mokhber said in a congratulatory message.
Mokhber said the success of Iran’s national team had highlighted the talent, scientific ability, and potential of the country’s teenagers globally.
He attributed the achievement to the ambition, perseverance, and scientific efforts of students whose knowledge and skills brought distinction to Iran in the international competition.
The official said the victory also underscored the importance of linking young talent with strategic priorities. He noted that many top Iranian students had continued their work at universities, research centers, strategic industries, and technology companies, contributing to Iran’s broader scientific and technological capabilities.
Mokhber added that connecting the new generation of talent with fields including space science and technology, artificial intelligence, advanced computing and emerging technologies could accelerate the country’s progress and strengthen its scientific and technological capabilities.
He congratulated the team members, their families, teachers, coaches, and others involved in nurturing their talents, wishing them continued success in science, progress, and service to the country.
