📌 Tehran, IRNA – Major General Ahmad Vahidi, Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), has described Iran’s Law Enforcement Command (FARAJA) as a powerful, professional and intelligent police force whose security role is supported by the public.
In a message on Saturday, Vahidi congratulated Police Chief Brigadier General Ahmadreza Radan along with its commanders, managers, personnel and their families on Police Week that starts on Monday, October 5.
The message said FARAJA has strengthened social security and stability across Iran by relying on its committed personnel and working in coordination with the Armed Forces and security institutions.
Vahidi said this year’s Police Week slogan is a strategic commitment that links police service to the country’s security and the relationship between the public and those responsible for protecting it.
He also honored the memory and sacrifices of FARAJA’s martyrs, veterans and disabled veterans from the eight-year war imposed by Iraq’s Baath regime in the 1980s, as well as those martyred or wounded in subsequent conflicts and security operations, describing them as a firm barrier against insecurity and disorder.
The IRGC commander praised FARAJA personnel for their role in confronting organized crime, smugglers, economic offenders and others who threaten public order and security. He said their efforts, combining authority with Islamic compassion, have helped provide security for Iranian society.
Vahidi concluded his message by wishing Radan and FARAJA personnel continued success, under the guidance of Iran’s religious and political leadership throughout the country.
