Job Opportunity: Discrete Event Simulation Specialist
The successful candidate will contribute to the development, implementation, and analysis of simulation models for real-world industrial systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
▫️ Develop and implement Discrete Event Simulation (DES) models
▫️ Analyze and optimize manufacturing, production, warehousing, and logistics processes
▫️ Build simulation models to support operational and strategic decision-making
▫️ Analyze simulation results and prepare insights and recommendations
▫️ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on industrial and logistics projects
▫️ Develop customized simulation logic and solutions using programming languages
Required Qualifications
▫️ Strong knowledge of Discrete Event Simulation concepts and methodologies
▫️ Programming skills and the ability to develop customized simulation models
▫️ Familiarity with Python
▫️ Knowledge of simulation programming languages and environments
▫️ Experience with simulation platforms such as FlexSim is highly desirable
▫️ Familiarity with manufacturing systems, supply chain, logistics, or industrial processes is an advantage
▫️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
▫️ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a project-based environment
▫️ Good communication and documentation skills
