π° Xiaomi unveiled the 18 Fold in China on September 7, while Apple announced the iPhone Duo two days later. So this time it wasn't Xiaomi "copying" Apple as it literally beat it to market.

π iPhone Duo: unfolds to 7.6", 5.4" outer display, A20 Pro chip, titanium frame, 5.2mm thick, 254g. No Face ID (Touch ID is back, in the side button), no telephoto lens. Starts at $1,999 for 256GB, up to $3,199 for 2T, ships October 23.
π Xiaomi 18 Fold: unfolds to 7.58", 5.38" cover screen, in-house Xring O3 chip, 5mm thick, 219g, a massive 6000mAh battery, up to 1TB storage, triple rear camera with no obvious compromises. Starts at roughly β$1,600 (10,999 yuan), topping out around β$2,050 for the 16GB/1TB config ΡΡΠ² still China-only for now.
π On paper, Xiaomi looks like the more aggressive package: lighter, slightly thinner, bigger battery. But...
