❗️Основные тезисы:

☑️ In some states, conservatorship is called guardianship. In other states, the term guardianship is used to label both conservatorship and guardianship.

☑️ The term guardian is mostly used to describe authority over healthcare and housing. Its purpose is to protect someone who does not have the capacity to make informed and safe decisions for themselves. The person in question is incapacitated due to several conditions, e.g. dementia or mental health issues.

☑️ The term conservator is commonly applied to indicate authority over the estate. Its purpose is to protect someone’s assets and avoid any mismanagement of funds and improper financial decisions.
