📲 Meta AI will use its ‘memory’ to provide better recommendations
#news #Insta

Meta is launching a new feature for its AI chatbot that allows it to "remember" user preferences, such as dietary choices and interests. This memory functionality will be integrated across Facebook, Messenger, and WhatsApp, enabling the AI to provide more personalized recommendations based on users' past interactions and details from their social media profiles.

The AI will adjust its responses based on context—for example, if a user indicates they are vegan, it will tailor future recipe suggestions accordingly. Users can delete specific memories, but there is currently no option to disable the personalization feature entirely. Meta believes that personalized experiences enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

📲 Instagram’s Grid Update Sparks Backlash from Creators
#news #Insta

Instagram is going through some growing pains. The popular photo and video sharing app rolled out a major change this week that replaces traditional square posts with vertical rectangles—and ruining perfectly curated grids along the way.

On Tuesday, Instagram’s official Creators account shared some updated guidelines for carousels, Reels, and Story posts. It became clear from the comments section that users aren’t thrilled with the switch-up..
