Слово, которое и грузины-то многие не знают. Сырник – совсем не грузинская штука, и часто тут его так и называют - sirniki. Но оказывается, что есть адаптированное из грузинской культуры слово. Так что в следующий раз можете попросить его:
მაჭკატი [matchkati] – сырник/cheesecake
Исторически мач’кати – это такой маленький, тонкий и круглый хлебец, испеченный на топленом масле или бараньем жире, блюдо из горных Хевсурети и Тушети.
Но сейчас уже так называют обычные сырники. И иногда удивляют этим словом официантов в кафе.
Ещё забавнее, что привычный всем чизкейк - это и есть сырник, дословно.

Fast food isn’t a very familiar concept for Georgians.
Think about it — when have you seen a Georgian eating quickly? (Maybe a Gurian, at most)
I personally can’t recall such an instance right now.
That’s why the translation of this name for a snack on the go is usually quite literal:
სწრაფი კვება [stsrap’i kveba] – fast food

The First Wedding House of Georgia
The ceremonial hall for registering newlyweds was opened in 1964 in Tbilisi at 2 Kamo Street (now Dimitri Uznadze Street).
The first couple to register there were Vilen Alavidze and Lamara Gagua.
Since its opening, the Wedding House has hosted the marriage registration of over 94,000 couples.
