The Iran-backed Houthis are reportedly working to expand their missile capabilities with components sourced from China.

A Conflict Armament Research investigation, cited by The Wall Street Journal, indicates the group is developing a weapon modeled on Iran’s Kheibar Shekan ballistic missile.

The proposed system could reach targets up to 1,900 miles away, potentially putting Israel and Saudi Arabia within striking distance. The findings concern an attempted development program, not a confirmed operational missile.
