Metallica frontman James Hetfield is making it clear that fans come to his concerts for music, not political lectures.
His remarks come as artists like Macklemore and Zach Bryan have drawn attention for their pro-Palestinian messaging.
Metallica also has a history of refusing to bow to pressure over Israel. The band performed in the country in 1993, 1999 and 2010, going ahead with its final show despite calls for a boycott.
Hetfield did not specifically name either artist in his remarks.
