A Delta flight arriving from New York triggered a security alert at Ben Gurion Airport on Tuesday after an anonymous tip warned of a possible explosive device.

Passengers were quickly evacuated, and the aircraft was inspected in an isolated area. Authorities found nothing suspicious, and airport operations returned to normal.

The incident follows heightened aviation security concerns after the recent flydubai hijacking attempt and Israel’s decision to turn away an Ethiopian cargo flight over an Indonesian crew member.
