🚨BREAKING: At least 12 hikers, including children, have been injured in an explosion near Israel’s border with Lebanon, in the Ramim Ridge area near the Pe’er observation point.

Magen David Adom (MDA) said its paramedics and emergency medical technicians are treating eight people in serious and moderate condition, along with several others who sustained minor injuries.

“MDA’s rescue helicopter and military helicopters were dispatched to the scene,” the emergency service said.

The explosion is suspected to have been caused by unexploded ordnance, although authorities have not yet confirmed the cause.
