Joint IDF and Israel Police Announcement:

Over the weekend (Friday), IDF soldiers operated in the area of Yasuf following a violent confrontation that developed in the area.
After several Israelis refused to leave the area, IDF soldiers presented them with an order declaring the area a closed military zone and apprehended two of them.

Police officers from the Ariel police station were dispatched to the scene, and the two suspects were transferred to the police station for questioning.

During the investigation, it emerged that one of the suspects was suspected of involvement in an incident that occurred approximately one week earlier, during which he assaulted IDF soldiers, refused to leave the area, and resisted the instructions of the forces operating at the scene.

Upon completion of the investigation, the two were brought before a court. Following the hearing, restrictive conditions were imposed, prohibiting them from entering the closed military zone.

Security authorities view any attempt to harm security forces or violate lawful orders with severity. We will not allow disturbances, harm to security forces, or attempts to disrupt their activities.
