IDF: IDF reveals footage of armed Hamas terrorists at Kamal Adwan Hospital, which continues to serve as a major hub for Hamas terrorist activity

Kamal Adwan Hospital, located in Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, currently operates as a medical clinic during the day. At the same time, Hamas continues to use the hospital and its surrounding area as cover for terrorist activity.

Based on intelligence and footage, the IDF is now revealing how Hamas terrorists continue to use the hospital and its surrounding area to advance attacks and attempt to restore the terrorist organization’s capabilities, while exploiting the presence of patients, medical staff, and using civilians as human shields, in violation of international law.

As previously revealed, the hospital and its surrounding area have been used by Hamas and Islamic Jihad in recent years to advance terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers. This was done by exploiting a medical facility, despite repeated calls by Israel and the IDF to refrain from using medical facilities for military purposes.

In December 2024, IDF troops operated in the hospital’s surrounding area, located extensive military equipment and weapons, and apprehended more than 240 Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists, as well as additional operatives suspected of being terrorists.
