IDF: The IDF Chief of the General Staff at the scene of the shooting attack in the Neve Tzuf area: “The IDF is on high alert, deployed and prepared with soldiers reinforced across all sectors, including throughout the fast. Our mission is clear and ongoing—to thwart terrorism, act decisively against every threat, and protect the citizens of the State of Israel.”

The IDF Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, arrived at the scene of the shooting attack in the Neve Tzuf area, under the Binyamin Regional Brigade. There, he conducted a situational assessment, toured the scene, and held an initial inquiry together with the Commander of the Central Command, MG Avi Bluth; the Commander of the Judea and Samaria Division, BG Kobi Heller; the Commander of the Israel Police’s Judea and Samaria District; representatives of the ISA; and additional commanders.

During the situational assessment, the Chief of the General Staff instructed forces to initiate a closure, continue the pursuit of those who assisted the terrorist, and seal and dismantle his residence.

The Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, said: “This was a severe terrorist attack, and I send our condolences to the family of the victim״.

We acted quickly—the despicable terrorist was apprehended by IDF troops. Our mission is not over. We will impose a closure on the village and conduct investigations, through which we will reach everyone who assisted the terrorist.

Ahead of Yom Kippur, we reinforced our soldiers on the frontlines and placed additional forces on standby for immediate deployment. On this holy day, as the people of Israel gather for Yom Kippur prayers, the IDF continues to stand guard.

The IDF and ISA eliminated two terrorists who infiltrated Israel on October 7th and a Nukhba commander

Yesterday (Saturday), the IDF and ISA struck and eliminated Yahya Hamdouna, a terrorist in Hamas’ military wing.

The terrorist infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th Massacre.

In additional strikes over the weekend, the IDF and ISA eliminated two additional Hamas terrorists, including:

- Muhammad Rafaei - a terrorist from the Daraj Tuffah Battalion who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th massacre
- Basir Al-Barsh - Nukhba Commander

Recently, the terrorists advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and operated to restore the terrorist organization’s capabilities, in systematic violation of the ceasefire. The terrorists were eliminated in order to remove the threat.

Prior to the strikes, measures were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.

IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.

IDF: Following a joint pursuit by security forces and ISA guidance, IDF soldiers apprehended the terrorist who carried out the shooting attack in Neve Tzuf area.

Minutes after the shooting, a soldier who was operating near the scene arrived at the location and fired at the terrorist. As a result, the terrorist was injured and fled the scene.

IDF soldiers apprehended the terrorist after he fled to a hospital near the site of the attack.

The security forces will act to bring every terrorist to justice and will pursue anyone who attempts to harm Israeli civilians or IDF soldiers.

IDF: A short while ago, IDF soldiers eliminated a terrorist who attempted to carry out a ramming attack against IDF soldiers operating in the Ganim area. No IDF injuries were reported.

IDF: Following a report that was received of a shooting attack in the Neve Tzuf area, numerous IDF soldiers were dispatched to the area and launched a pursuit after the terrorist. The soldiers are establishing roadblocks in the area.

Two days ago (Thursday), the IDF struck in the Khan Younis area and eliminated Muhammad Suleiman Byouk, a commander in the military wing of the Hamas terrorist organization.

The terrorist infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th Massacre.
Throughout the war, including recently, the terrorist operated to plant explosive devices across the Gaza Strip in order to harm IDF troops.

The terrorist planned and advanced terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and operated to rehabilitate Hamas and prepare the terrorist organization for continued operations, in systematic violation of the ceasefire. The terrorist was eliminated in order to remove the threat he posed.

IDF: In response to an explosive device detonating in the Security Zone: The IDF struck Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon

Earlier today (Saturday), an IDF engineering vehicle drove over an explosive device belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the Security Zone in southern Lebanon. As a result, two IDF soldiers were lightly injured and were evacuated to receive medical treatment. Their families have been notified.

In response, the IDF struck terrorist infrastructure in several areas in southern Lebanon. Among the targets struck were observation posts and infrastructure from which Hezbollah terrorists operated to advance and execute attacks against IDF soldiers.

IDF soldiers continue to be deployed in the Security Zone in southern Lebanon in accordance with the agreement, and will continue to operate to remove threats to Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers.

The IDF is currently operating, and will continue to operate with determination against Hezbollah's repeated attempts to harm IDF soldiers.

IDF: The IDF eliminated a Nukhba commander who infiltrated Israel during the October 7th Massacre and a commander in Hamas’ Naval Array

Yesterday (Wednesday), the IDF struck in the Al-Bureij area and eliminated the terrorist Muhammad Jamal Ahmad Eid, a Nukhba commander in Hamas’ military wing. The terrorist infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th Massacre.

In an additional strike two days ago (Tuesday) in the Gaza City area, the IDF eliminated the terrorist Saleh Ziad Ibrahim Miqdad, a platoon commander in the Naval Array of Hamas’ military wing.

Recently, the terrorists advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians, worked to increase the readiness of Hamas terrorists and to restore Hamas capabilities, in systematic violation of the ceasefire. The terrorists were eliminated in order to remove the threat they posed.

Prior to the strikes, measures were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.

IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.

IDF: Approximately 230 wanted individuals apprehended and over 100 weapons confiscated: IDF troops continue counterterrorism operations in Judea and Samaria

IDF troops are operating to thwart terrorism in Judea and Samaria.

Over the past several months, soldiers conducted operational searches at more than 1,200 locations, including a facility for the production of explosive devices, and apprehended approximately 230 wanted individuals.

In addition, soldiers located a large quantity of terror equipment and weapons, including M16 rifles, magazines, ammunition, pistols, and submachine guns.

IDF troops will continue to operate to thwart terrorism and maintain security in Judea and Samaria.

IDF: Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago regarding a hostile aircraft infiltration in the areas of Manara and Margaliot, an interceptor was launched toward a suspicious target.
An initial assessment indicates that it was most likely a false target. The incident is still under review.

Missile and rocket alerts were activated due to the interception attempts.

IDF: To Remove The Threat: The IDF Eliminated Three Terrorists From Hamas and the Islamic Jihad Who Advanced Shooting and Explosive Attack Plans Against IDF Troops

Earlier today (Wednesday), the IDF struck in the Tuffah area in the northern Gaza Strip and eliminated Said As'ad Said Akrim, a commander in the Daraj Tuffah Battalion in Hamas’ military wing.

The terrorist had recently been involved in planting explosives and advancing shooting attacks against IDF troops.

In two additional strikes yesterday (Tuesday) in northern Gaza, the following terrorists were eliminated:

* Nimer Yasser Nimer Arshi – a regional artillery terrorist in the military wing of the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization. As part of his role, he took part in rocket launches from the Daraj Tuffah area toward Israeli territory.
* Ahmed Bazahat Saleh Shaer – a terrorist in the Shuja'iya Battalion in Hamas’ military wing, who had recently been involved in planting explosives.

Recently, the terrorists advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians in systematic violation of the ceasefire. The terrorists were eliminated in order to remove the threat they posed.

IDF: The Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, visited the 91st Division today (Wednesday), together with the Commander of the Northern Command, MG Rafi Milo; Head of the Operations Directorate, MG Itzik Cohen; Head of the Planning Directorate, MG Hidai Zilberman; Commander of the Northern Reserve Corps, MG Yaakov Dolef; Commander of the 91st Division, BG Yuval Gaz; Commander of the Border Defense Array, BG Dvir Edri; and additional senior commanders.

During the visit, the Chief of the General Staff held an operational situation assessment, during which he examined the situation in the area and the troops’ readiness. As part of the assessment, field intelligence troops, Yahalom troops, and reservists from the 91st Division presented robotic capabilities and advanced weapons that assist the troops in their missions and strengthen defensive capabilities in the area.

The Chief of the General Staff approved the principles of the defensive concept in the area and conveyed guidance to the commanders regarding the troops’ readiness, strengthening operational preparedness, and maintaining a high level of alertness, in accordance with developments in the area and operational missions.

From the remarks of the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir: “The 91st Division is on the front line of defense for the residents of the north. We operate from forward defensive areas based on maintaining a presence deep inside enemy territory beyond the border, in accordance with the updated operational concept. Our troops are operating to thwart threats while strengthening the defense of the communities and residents in the north. The war is not yet over, and challenges still lie ahead.

We have achieved many significant operational accomplishments and weakened the Hezbollah terrorist organization. The IDF is determined to rid the area south of the Litani River of Hezbollah’s presence, alongside advancing the ongoing overarching objective of disarming our Hezbollah. This objective cannot be advanced as part of a desired agreement with the Lebanese government as long as the Lebanese Armed Forces do not significantly improve their effectiveness on the ground.

We will not allow Hezbollah to rebuild its strength, restore its capabilities, or reestablish terrorist infrastructure in the area.

The battlefield is changing rapidly. This challenge requires us to remain in constant motion, learn quickly, and continuously improve. As part of the lessons we have learned throughout the war, we are developing new capabilities and expanding the use of manned and unmanned capabilities, with the aim of increasing operational effectiveness. In the coming months, we will inaugurate the Robotics Branch, which will develop capabilities in the air, at sea, and on land. What you see here is only the beginning.

The capabilities you operated during the war, as well as in the Battle of Beaufort and the Ali al-Taher Ridge, were impressive, increased operational effectiveness, and saved the lives of our troops. We will continue moving forward rapidly, developing and adapting ourselves to the changing reality, and becoming a global leader in this field.”

IDF: The IDF eliminated a Nukhba squad commander who infiltrated Israeli territory and took part in the abduction of Armored Corps soldiers during the October 7th Massacre

Last week (Thursday), the IDF struck in the Khan Yunis area in the southern Gaza Strip and eliminated the terrorist Jihad Samih Mahmoud Ismail, a Nukhba squad commander in Hamas’ military wing.

The terrorist infiltrated Israeli territory from the southern Gaza Strip during the October 7th Massacre and took part in the encounter with the Armored Corps soldiers from Tank No. 3, as well as in the abduction of Captain Omer Neutra, Staff Sergeant Oz Daniel, and Sergeant Nimrod Cohen. During the encounter, the tank driver, Sergeant Shaked Dahan, was killed.

Throughout the war, the terrorist was involved in ambushes against IDF troops intended to harm them.

Recently, the terrorist advanced attacks targeting IDF troops and Israeli civilians, in systematic violation of the ceasefire. The terrorist was eliminated in order to remove the threat he posed.
