IDF: Dozens of Weapons and Terrorist Infrastructure Located and Dismantled in the Security Zone in Syria: Troops of the 228th Brigade Complete Their Mission

Following three months of operational activity, IDF soldiers of the 228th Brigade under the command of the 210th Division, completed their mission in the Security Zone in Syria to remove threats to the State of Israel.

Over the past several months, the soldiers conducted targeted operations, questioned dozens of suspects, apprehended several operatives, dismantled terrorist infrastructure, and located numerous weapons, including RPG rockets, mortar shells, and Kalashnikov rifles.

The soldiers of the 228th Brigade have now completed their fifth reserve deployment and will be replaced by soldiers of the 2nd Brigade.

Soldiers of the 210th Division will continue operating in the area in order to ensure the security of Israeli civilians, particularly the residents of the Golan Heights.
